Happy Halloween

Here's a rare moment in history, I'm actually publishing a post on the day of the event. Happy Halloween to everyone. Emma and I had a blast tonight. Our first journey was around Holly's neighbourhood. It was a treat! We did about 12-15 houses... not everyone on the block was home because it was only 4:30pm. But it was definately enough.

As you can see, the walk around Holly's block was really tiring! Thanks for the help Holly! It was a blast!!

Next we were off to our neighbourhood. It was a great evening. Papa Brian,Emma, Mayeli, Myranda and I all went trick or treating together. It was awesome to see the girls holding hands and running up to the doors. They were so excited. At every door Emma introduced Mayeli... "this is my friend Mayeli... and I'm Emma, can I have a candy?" About half way around the block Emma decided she was going to sing for her treats. She told us all she had learned a new song. So up we go to the next door and this elderly man opens it up... and there's Emma at the top of her lungs "trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat... but not too small, ok?" It was really adorable and I was definately shocked to hear her sing that song! I was expecting twinkle twinkle or mr. sun... but that's my girl, always keeping me on my toes!
