One Step Closer
It's been a while since I've posted anything work related on here... actually I don't think i've ever posted anything work related here. Anyway, at the end of October i went to an ethics seminar in Brampton. It was step three of four towards getting my AMP designation. The seminar was centered on ethical practice in the mortgage industry, and was put on by CIMBL. It was a one day event with an exam at the end! Generally, i wouldn't have been worried about the exam except that the book i was supposed to read prior to attending was never received by me (therefore it wasn't read). The instructor promised this wouldn't be an issue because everything i'd need to know was going to be discussed... so i wasn't that worried... until of course the instructor started talking. Here i am sitting in this huge room, totally exhausted (emma was up the night prior with a wicked cough, so i only slept for an hour and a half), and i can't hear anything. The people that were supposed to install the microphone thingy didn't show! Anyway, to make a really long story much shorter... I passed the exam! On friday i got my certificate in the mail. The fourth and final step is approaching. At the end of November i register for another course... and then that's it! (if i pass). So i'm guessing that by May or June of 2007 I should have my AMP designation. I'm so excited!

Rachael.. I had the best time ever this last week. I love you so much. I was so happy that we could all share a wonderful , fun day in memory of Matt. I'm sure Matt was smiling down on us and happy we were celebrating his life. He slaways said to me " Celebrate my life, don't cry over me". It's easier said than done but we did it together.
